As our firm continues to grow, we are looking for a skilled Tax Manager to join our team. <ul>
<li>Oversee the delivery of key tax engagements including corporate reorganizations, intergenerational business transitions, estate planning, and buy/sell transaction support.</li>
<li>Provide trusted advice to business owners and clients, translating complex tax matters into clear, practical recommendations.</li>
<li>Manage workflow, ensuring timely, high-quality deliverables and proactively identifying/resolving project obstacles.</li>
<li>Mentor and review the work of junior team members, fostering skill development and knowledge-sharing across the team.</li>
<li>Act as a primary liaison with external advisors including legal and wealth management professionals.</li>
<li>Represent the firm with professionalism and integrity.</li>
<li>Contribute to business development by identifying new client opportunities and expanding your professional network within the legal, financial, and business communities.</li>
</ul>
<h3>Expertise and Qualifications</h3>
<ul>
<li>CPA designation and 4–7 years of tax experience in public accounting (preferably with a focus on Canadian private clients).</li>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business; enrolment in or completion of the CPA In-Depth Tax Course is an asset.</li>
<li>Demonstrated experience with corporate reorganizations (including Section 55 and safe income calculations), estate planning, and tax advisory for owner-managed businesses.</li>
<li>Proficient in CCH iFirm, CaseWare, tax research platforms (Taxnet Pro, BlueJ, Canadian Tax Foundation), and the Microsoft Office Suite.</li>
<li>Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for both client and professional interactions.</li>
<li>Highly organized, proactive, and collaborative approach; strong project management skills with a commitment to professional excellence.</li>
