We rent a wide range of small and large equipment, including excavators, sky jacks, bobcats, and lawn and garden equipment. Our team takes pride in providing exceptional customer service, and as a member of our crew, customer satisfaction is one of your best assets.</p><p><br /></p><p>We are currently seeking a skilled Small Engine Mechanic to inspect, service, and repair motorized and non-motorized power equipment, machinery, and tools. Youll troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and fuel system issues and perform the repairs necessary to keep our equipment running safely and efficiently.</p><p><br /></p><p>Key Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Discuss equipment issues, maintenance plans, and work performed with the lead mechanic</li><li>Perform routine engine maintenance, such as lubricating parts and replacing spark plugs</li><li>Sharpen saw blades and other small equipment tools</li><li>Test and inspect rental equipment after each rental period for damages and proper function</li><li>Record any damages or malfunctions for management</li><li>Repair or replace worn, defective, or broken parts</li><li>Reassemble and reinstall components and engines following repairs</li><li>Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, work performed, and parts used</li></ul><p><br><br></p><p>What You Bring:</p><ul><li>Licensed Small Engine Mechanic or Apprentice</li><li>Proficient with a variety of hand tools, screwdrivers, wrenches, and pliers and other tools</li><li>Able to use compression gauges, ammeters, and voltmeters to test engine performance</li><li>Experience with pneumatic tools and diagnostic equipment</li><li>Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills</li><li>Detail-oriented and dexterous</li><li>Excellent customer service skills</li><li>Ability to lift 50lbs, and occasionally up to 80lbs and perform the essential duties of the position</li></ul><p><br><br></p><p>Why Youll Love Working with Us:</p><p><br /></p><p>We know the value of hard workand we make sure its rewarded in ways that matter, both on the job and at home:</p><ul><li>No regularly scheduled weekend shifts Enjoy your time off with a reliable Monday to Friday schedule</li><li>Standard daytime hours Predictable work hours that support a balanced lifestyle</li><li>Enjoy work-life balance Our stores are closed on most (if not all) statutory holidays, giving you more time for family, rest, and personal pursuits.</li><li>Holiday break We close our stores over the Christmas season so you can spend time with family.
