Full time<br /> Postal Code: L8E<br /> Area Code: 289, 365,905 <br /> Keywords: <span >#Shop.supervisor.jobs</span> <span >#Trucking.industry.jobs</span> <span >#Heavy.equipment.jobs</span><br><br> *310T License and/or Truck & Coach exposure required*<br><br> Key Responsibilities<br /> * Responsible for coaching, mentoring, scheduling, monitoring attendance, conflict resolution, learning and development for a team of employees<br /> * Oversee the day to day running of the shop and keep the flow of work constant<br /> * Ensure that the time cards are correct, up to date, and the description of what the employee accomplished reflects the job assigned<br /> * Answer any questions and assist technicians with troubleshooting<br /> * Organize and schedule labor in the workshop or field<br /> * Train apprentices in proper work procedures<br /> * Verify the level of quality on completed projects by the technicians<br /> * Create quotes for the repairs needed<br /> * Ensure that warranties are researched to determine if the Manufacturer still has responsibility<br /> * Ensure that Pre-Delivery Inspections are completed<br /> * Foster a workplace culture of safety, with appropriate leadership<br /> * Continually promote health and safety awareness with instruction, information, training and supervision to ensure the safe performance of employees<br /> * Ensure that the technicians are wearing and using the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment<br /> Qualifications<br /> * Experience: 3-4 years of relevant leadership experience.<br /> * Education: Trade certification or Journeyman Red Seal with On/Off Highway, Heavy Equipment, or Material Handling experience.<br /> * Detroit/Allison experience as well as experience with computers & various diagnostic software are skills that will prove to be valuable in this position.<br /> * Drive to lead a team of Shop & Field Technicians.<br /> CCC280 ...<br><br></p></p>
