This position is ideal for individuals with a strong sense of responsibility, professionalism, and attention to detail. You’ll play a key role in ensuring the safety and security of clients, staff, and property while conducting patrols and responding to incidents across multiple sites.</p><p>This role involves independent work, proactive problem-solving, and effective communication with both clients and the Paladin management team. If you’re looking for an opportunity that offers training, growth, and the chance to make a difference, this is the position for you.</p><p></p><strong>Responsibilities</strong><ul><li> Remain <strong>alert and observant</strong> during patrols, maintaining focus while walking or standing for extended periods in all weather conditions. </li><li><strong>Maintain clear communication</strong> with dispatchers, fellow guards, clients, and Paladin management staff. </li><li> Ensure all site staff follow <strong>Paladin Security policies and procedures</strong>. </li><li> Accurately <strong>document incidents</strong> and pass reports to Shift Leads, Dispatchers, clients, and Paladin leadership. </li><li><strong>Conduct mobile patrols diligently</strong> and respond promptly to security incidents and complaints. </li><li><strong>Inspect and report vehicle deficiencies</strong> to Paladin leadership immediately. </li><li> Work independently and remain <strong>self-motivated</strong> throughout the shift. </li><li> Uphold a <strong>professional appearance and attitude</strong>, ensuring high standards of conduct and service. </li><li> Enforce company and site rules in accordance with <strong>federal, provincial, and municipal laws</strong>. </li><li> Record and address any <strong>discrepancies, safety hazards, or deficiencies</strong> identified during patrols. </li><li> Provide courteous assistance to the public and <strong>respond immediately to emergencies</strong>, coordinating responses as per established procedures.</li></ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>Valid <strong>Ontario Security Guard License</strong></li><li> Valid <strong>G Class Driver’s License</strong></li><li><strong>Clean driving abstract</strong> with at least <strong>3 years of driving experience</strong></li><li> Valid <strong>First Aid & CPR – Level C</strong> certification </li><li> Diploma or currently working toward one in <strong>Police Foundations</strong> or <strong>Border Services</strong></li><li> Proficient in <strong>English (oral and written)</strong></li><li> Strong situational awareness and ability to work independently</li></ul><p><strong>Benefits</strong></p><ul><li>Paid Time Off </li><li>Dental Coverage </li><li>Vision Coverage </li><li>On-the-Job Training </li><li>Growth Opportunities </li><li>Extensive professional training </li><li>Competitive wages and advancement potential </li><li>Supportive communication, scheduling, and management structure </li><li>Daily Pay options available</li></ul></p></p>
