<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p>Salary: <br /><p>Were looking for a full-time HVAC/Refrigeration Technician to work with us in the Muskoka and Parry Sound region.</p><p><br /></p><p><strong>What youll do</strong></p><ul><li>Install, operate, maintain and repair fixed and mobile refrigeration systems, HVAC systems and associated control equipment.</li><li>Read and interpret blueprints, drawings or other specifications.</li><li>Measure and lay out reference points for installation.</li><li>Assemble and install refrigeration or air conditioning components such as motors, controls, gauges, valves, circulating pumps, condensers, humidifiers, evaporators and compressors using hand and power tools.</li><li>Measure, cut and connect piping using welding and brazing equipment.</li><li>Install, troubleshoot and overhaul entire heating, ventilation, air handling, refrigeration and air conditioning systems.</li><li>Start system, set up equipment as per manufacturer specifications and test for leaks using testing devices.</li><li>Recharge system with refrigerant, check and test regulators, calibrate system and perform routine maintenance or servicing, create reports and log all refrigerant changing.</li><li>Troubleshoot, then repair and replace parts and components for entire refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilation or heat pump systems.</li><li>May prepare work estimates for clients.</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>Strong mechanical aptitude and high attention to detail. Able to efficiently make decisions related to your job and responsibilities.</li><li>Strong interpersonal skills to work with colleagues, suppliers and customers. Proactive in maintaining professional relationships that reflect the companys core values.</li><li>Effective communication, training, and leadership skills. Able to manage and oversee those under your authority while also demonstrating a personal continuous learning attitude.</li><li>Willing to travel to site appointments and work flexible hours.</li><li>Demonstrate high integrity and moral values.</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><strong>Experience and qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>You must have a 313A or 313D refrigeration license or be in the third year of your apprenticeship.</li><li>A minimum of G3 Gas License.</li><li>Hold a valid G Class Drivers License with a clean driving record.</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><strong>Salary and benefits</strong></p><p>SIFFT offers a competitive wage based on an individuals experience level.
