<p><h3>Overview</h3><p>Aversan Inc. is a trusted multi-service engineering and electronics manufacturing company. Aversan delivers leading-edge and reliable safety-critical electronics and software systems to the aerospace, defense, rail, and space industries.</p><p>We are currently seeking a qualified <b>Validation Specialist</b> to join our team.</p><p><b>Location:</b> Toronto, Ontario (Onsite)</p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Analyze system and software requirements to perform verification using automated tools.</li><li>Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of automated test scripts using Python and/or Perl.</li><li>Integrate test scripts into automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.</li><li>Execute tests in lab and simulation environments (OPSIM).</li><li>Document anomalies and test results in tracking systems.</li><li>Conduct operational and stress-test scenarios.</li><li>Participate in training and self-study to build product knowledge.</li><li>Follow company processes and work instructions.</li><li>Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.</li><li>Manage multiple projects and deliver on time and within budget.</li><li>Continuously seek improvements in testing methods and processes.</li><li>Promote a safety-first culture and identify safety-related defects early in the testing lifecycle.</li></ul><h3>Basic Qualifications</h3><ul><li>B.Sc. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.</li><li>Experience in software testing or development.</li><li>Proficiency in Python; familiarity with Perl, C, or C++ is a plus.</li><li>Understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git).</li><li>Strong organizational and communication skills.</li><li>Fluent in English (oral and written).</li><li>Knowledge of Agile, SCRUM, or DevOps methodologies.</li><li>Proficiency in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).</li><li>Must be a Canadian Permanent Resident or Citizen.</li></ul><h3>Preferred Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Experience in regulated industries (rail, aerospace, medical).</li><li>Exposure to real-time and embedded system testing.</li><li>Familiarity with rail signaling and CBTC systems.</li></ul></p>#J-18808-Ljbffr
