As a Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients through personalized care and assisting individuals with diverse needs, promoting independence, and enhancing their overall quality of life.</p><p><strong>Duties</strong></p><ul><li>Provide assistance with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing.</li><li>Provide personalized care and support to clients based on their individual needs and care plans.</li><li>Assist with meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition for clients.</li><li>Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of clients.</li><li>Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks.</li><li>Foster a positive and empowering environment for clients, promoting independence and self-esteem.</li><li>Support individuals with cognitive impairments through engaging activities and routines.</li><li>Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care..</li><li>Assist clients with mobility and transportation needs, ensuring their safety at all times.</li><li>Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to appropriate personnel.</li><li>Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client progress and activities</li></ul><p><strong>Experience</strong><br />Candidates should possess experience or knowledge in the following areas:</p><ul><li>Previous experience as a Support Worker or in a related role preferred.</li><li>Certification or training in health and social care.</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Compassionate and patient attitude towards clients.</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team.</li><li>Up to date Safe Management Certificate</li><li>Up to date Vulnerable Sector Check</li><li>Up to date First Aid Certificate</li><li>Clean Driving Record</li></ul><p>We welcome applicants who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of others and are committed to providing exceptional support to those in need.</p><p></p><p>Please send resume to trish@axisis.ca</p><p></p></p></p>
