The position requires the successful candidate to be detail orientated and physically fit with the ability to complete manual labour tasks. A minimum Class 5 license is required.</p><p>Job Overview and Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Safely and skillfully operate a variety of heavy mobile equipment such as dozers, loaders and track hoes to excavate, grade and move material</li><li>Completing pre and post trip inspections as required</li><li>Minor truck and equipment maintenance</li><li>Understand grades and slopes in relation to the job</li><li>Excavating</li><li>Backfilling</li><li>Clean up sites</li><li>Occasional labour work</li><li>Comply with safe working procedures and practices</li><li>Requires a flexible work schedule including overtime, weekend and out of town work as required during the construction season (May November)</li><li>Other duties as required</li></ul><p>PREFERENCE WILL BE GIVEN TO LOCAL CANDIDATES</p><br><br><b><i>Job Posted by ApplicantPro</i></b><br /></p></p>
