This role ensures products are picked and shipped to meet our quality specifications 100% of the time, while continuously driving efficiency and achieving departmental budget targets. <br><br><strong>This is a permanent full-time position working Monday through Friday from our Workshop in Canmore, Alberta. </strong></p><p><strong>What you&#39;ll be doing</strong><br><br>Fulfillment & Warehouse Operations</p><ul><li>Manage and monitor the overall performance of the shipping team</li><li>Drive efficiency in shipping areas through tools, innovation, team engagement, and optimized workspaces</li><li>Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to support business goals</li><li>Ensure the health and safety of team members through Rocky policies and procedures</li><li>Empower team members and hold them accountable for achieving shipping targets and process improvements</li><li>Negotiate and procure shipping and packing supplies, and ensure competitive pricing for outbound freight services</li><li>Oversee warehouse operations, including layout, process flow, and storage optimization</li><li>Supervise all aspects of warehouse and shipping functions including picking, receiving, storage, dispatching, maintenance, sanitation, and administration </li><li>Other duties as assigned</li></ul>Compliance and Regulations<ul><li>Lead and oversee Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Natural Health Products (NHP) processes across shipping and warehouse operations </li><li>Ensure full compliance with all applicable laws, regulations and industry standards</li><li>Establish and maintain comprehensive quality management systems, policies, procedures to uphold Rocky&#39;s commitment to quality</li><li>Serve as the subject matter expert on regulatory requirements, fostering cross-functional collaboration to address evolving compliance needs</li></ul>Leadership & Coaching<ul><li>Provide development and growth opportunities for shipping and warehouse team members</li><li>Build, develop, and retain a high-performing supply chain team through coaching, training and growth opportunities to foster continuous improvement </li><li>Manage departmental budget, headcount, and resources to align with business priorities</li></ul>Internal Audit<ul><li>Develop and execute internal audit plans for 5S, Kaizen, process improvement activities, 4M, change management, inventory, and documentation, with responsibility for identifying and recording any discrepancies</li></ul><p><strong>Does this sound like you?</strong></p><ul><li>Minimum 4+ years of experience in a Shipping Manager or Supervisor role</li><li>Bachelor&#39;s degree in Business Management, Engineering, Logistics or a related field considered a strong asset</li><li>Experience working in a Cosmetic GMP environment preferred</li><li>Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail</li><li>Demonstrated problem solving and conflict management capabilities</li><li>Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire, engage, and motivate teams</li><li>Knowledge of LEAN, Six Sigma, 5S, and ISO Quality Standards an asset</li></ul><p><b>What&#39;s in it for you?</b></p><ul><li>Significant product discounts and quarterly allowances</li><li>Subsidized group medical and dental benefits for you and your family</li><li>Share in Rocky’s success - <i>The Great Game</i> profit sharing program</li><li>Generous paid annual vacation and personal days </li><li>Healthy lifestyle support through an annual allowance</li><li>Access to a dedicated Rocky coach to help you optimize your potential</li><li>The opportunity to participate in <i>Culture Club</i> organized activities</li></ul><p><strong>Application</strong></p><ul><li><b>We are accepting applications for the Shipping & Warehouse Manager position until a suitable candidate is found. </b></li><li>Eligibility: Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada. </li></ul><p>Powered by JazzHR</p><p>GgX2XY83Qh</p></p></p>
