Job Description

<p>Our client, a leading player in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Shipping/Receiving Clerk to join their team. As a Shipping/Receiving Clerk, you will be part of the logistics department supporting the production team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment, which will align successfully with the organization's goals.</p>

<p><strong>Job Title:</strong> Shipping/Receiving Clerk</p>

<p><strong>Location:</strong> Mississauga, ON</p>

<p><strong>Pay Range:</strong> $21.00 per hour</p>

<p><strong>Shift:</strong> Monday-Thursday 8:00 a.m - 5:30 p.m; Friday 8:00 a.m - 12:00 p.m (until Sept 26th), then Monday-Friday 9:00 a.m - 5:30 p.m</p>

<p><strong>What's the Job?</strong></p>

<ul>
<li>Receive and inspect shipments, verifying against purchase orders and packing lists.
<li>Safely unload, move, and store materials, including steel, using appropriate equipment.
<li>Maintain accurate records of received materials and notify the Team Lead of any discrepancies.
<li>Organize and store materials in designated areas for efficient access by production teams.
<li>Complete necessary paperwork and electronic records for all received shipments.
</ul>

<p><strong>What's Needed?</strong></p>

<ul>
<li>Valid forklift license (electric counterbalance) with a minimum of 1-year operating experience.
<li>Ability to lift a minimum of 35lbs solo and 50lbs in a team lift throughout the day.
<li>Strong attention to detail for identifying and sorting parts and updating receipt paperwork.
<li>Basic computer skills for documentation and record-keeping.
<li>Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
