<h3><strong>Senior Staff Product Engineer (Hybrid Role)</strong></h3><p>Our client, a leader in advanced CMOS and BiCMOS data and video communications technology (25-400G), is seeking a <strong>Senior Staff Product Engineer</strong> to join their New Product Introduction (NPI) Product Engineering team. This team plays a critical role in the full lifecycle of new products—from concept to end-of-life—working cross-functionally to optimize test coverage, yield, product characterization, cost, and manufacturing readiness. This position offers a unique opportunity to lead programs, influence product design, and make a significant impact on high-performance semiconductor development.</p><h3><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></h3><ul><li>Collaborate with <strong>Marketing and Design teams</strong> to optimize designs for manufacturability, testability, reliability, and efficient volume ramp-up.</li><li>Drive decision-making around the <strong>development or sourcing</strong> of new technologies with a focus on cost and manufacturability.</li><li>Conduct <strong>design reviews</strong> to ensure manufacturability and testability best practices are implemented.</li><li>Coordinate and contribute to <strong>test and characterization plans</strong>, ensuring alignment with Test Development and Validation teams for product compliance.</li><li>Lead <strong>product qualification planning, documentation, and reporting</strong>.</li><li>Perform <strong>capability analysis, margin analysis, correlation studies, and yield modeling</strong> to ensure robust product performance.</li><li>Optimize <strong>test coverage, test limits, and guard banding</strong> to enhance quality and efficiency.</li><li>Provide technical leadership and actively participate in <strong>design and test reviews</strong>, ensuring high test coverage and quality standards.</li></ul><h3><strong>Required Qualifications:</strong></h3><ul><li><strong>Bachelor’s degree</strong> in Electrical Engineering (or related field) with <strong>3+ years of experience</strong> in <strong>Product Engineering, Test Engineering, or Hardware Design</strong>.</li><li>Proven experience improving <strong>yield, quality, and cost efficiency</strong> in semiconductor products.</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, utilizing <strong>statistical and data-driven approaches</strong>.</li><li>Experience in <strong>manufacturing documentation</strong>, product qualification, and reporting.</li><li>Ability to <strong>lead cross-functional teams</strong> in a multi-project environment.</li><li>Strong <strong>communication and leadership skills</strong>, with the ability to influence both peers and senior management.</li><li>Experience working with <strong>external suppliers and subcontractors</strong>.</li></ul><p>This is an exciting opportunity for a <strong>technical leader</strong> who is passionate about optimizing product performance and manufacturability in a high-impact, cross-functional role.
