As the Sales Director, New Business within Info-Tech’s rapidly growing Vendor Services division, you’ll have the unique opportunity to build and lead a brand-new team focused on driving business development success. This isn’t just a new hire training role—it’s a strategic leadership position where you’ll shape the future of how we acquire and develop top-tier sales talent to fuel our next phase of growth.<br><br>In this high-impact role, you’ll lead a team of 6–10 junior to experienced sales professionals through their first months and beyond at Info-Tech in the Vendor Services Division, designing and executing a robust post-onboarding program that sets them up for long-term success. You’ll collaborate closely with senior sales leaders to refine our go-to-market strategy, accelerate ramp-up time, and ensure the team is consistently hitting key milestones and driving revenue.<br><br>At Info-Tech, we’re proud to be one of the world’s fastest-growing IT research and advisory firms, serving over 40,000 IT professionals globally. <strong>Vendor Services is a key growth engine—and this role is your chance to make a lasting impact!<br><br></strong><strong>You'll be a good fit if you have...<br><br></strong><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in any field.</li><li>5+ years of front-line B2B sales experience with a proven track record of exceeding targets.</li><li>Strong leadership and mentoring skills with a passion for developing talent.</li><li>Excellent communication, active listening, and problem-solving abilities.</li><li>High resilience, intellectual curiosity, and a drive to innovate and lead change.</li><li>Experience in advisory, information, or business services is a strong asset.<br><br></li></ul><strong>As The New Business Sales Director You Will<br><br></strong><ul><li>Build and lead a high-performance Acquire team from the ground up.</li><li>Help to design and continuously improve a post-onboarding program that drives 80%+ new hire productivity within 90–120 days.</li><li>Set clear performance milestones and coach team members through discovery, appointment setting, and closing.</li><li>Monitor and optimize sales metrics, using data to drive decisions and improve outcomes.</li><li>Collaborate with senior leadership to shape sales strategy and align on business development goals.</li><li>Conduct QA sessions, provide real-time coaching, and support sales conversations to ensure success.</li><li>Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.</li><li>Evaluate success of sales programs and implement changes to ensure goals are achieved: increasing the meeting number and growing the business in revenue, profit, market share, net customer base.</li><li>Manage and develop internal sales staff by providing supervision, coaching/training, monitoring activities, and participating in performance assessment of sales staff.</li><li>Monitor, provide coaching, and conduct QA sessions on recorded sales conversations.</li><li>Assist in Sales conversations and provide on-call support to insure successful account acquisition and client satisfaction.</li><li>Accurately forecast annual, quarterly, and monthly revenues.</li><li>Maintain high levels of engagement and ability to drive a collaborative and supportive team culture.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Skills<br><br></strong><ul><li>Intellectual agility and curiosity: Willingness to continually learn about the product and customer and use that knowledge adeptly in demonstrating and articulating ITRG’s value proposition.</li><li>Excellent communication and selling skills: Ability to communicate internally and externally with senior executives in a clear, compelling, and concise manner; demonstrate sales skills throughout the sales process.</li><li>Active Listening skills: Ability to listen and respond to a customer in a manner that improves mutual understanding.</li><li>Organization/time management skills: Ability and discipline to effectively manage a series of diverse and compelling sales activities with ongoing re-prioritization and focus.</li><li>Persistence and Resilience: Demonstrates consistent tenacity in managing the sales process and successfully overcomes setbacks and disappointments;
