<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><p><strong>Essential Duties and Tasks</strong></p><ul><li>Manage programs and activities of the quality department</li><li>Work in conjunction with Organizational Quality leadership and Manufacturing Management to ensure all manufacturing and Quality Assurance procedures are being performed and all metrics are on target.</li><li>Responsible for personnel activities including hiring, termination, performance goals setting, and ensuring that all quality personnel are trained to perform their respective job functions.</li><li>Participate in the development, implementation and administration of quality specifications and systems.</li><li>Monitor and report on progress against metrics and goals</li><li>Visit customers and suppliers when necessary.</li><li>Responsible for all activities associated with internal and external audits.</li><li>Manage customer complaint and reject process to ensure accurate root cause analysis, timely response, and determination and implementation of corrective actions.</li><li>Monitor site quality and food safety metrics and develop counter measures as needed.</li><li>Work with manufacturing to ensure product conformance through documented process monitoring and process controls methods.</li><li>All other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications, Education and Experience</strong></p><ul><li>BS Degree (preferred in technical area) plus five (5) years of leadership experience in <span >Quality/Manufacturing</span> or ten (10) years of relevant experience</li><li>Experience in print press QC mythology</li><li>Comprehensive knowledge of concepts and principles. Prior audit experience and knowledge of ISO 9001, GMP, GFSI required</li><li>Strong data management skills preferred.</li><li>Demonstrated understanding of fact-based decision-making and analytical processes related to quality management and process improvement.</li><li>Effective coaching, training and facilitating experience.</li><li>Solid working knowledge of quality processes and related manufacturing</li><li>Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point), Visio, Teams, and Outlook</li><li>Maintains strict confidentiality and protects privacy of <span >confidential/sensitive</span> information.</li><li>Exceptional time management and organization skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously establishing priorities to meet deadlines.</li><li>Ability to communicate effectively (verbal, written, and presentations) with executive leadership, staff, and internal and external clients.</li><li>Proactive; exercises sound judgment and decision making; able to identify problems and needs and develop solutions and/or options.</li><li>Self-confident, self-motivated polished professional who thrives in a challenging, fast-paced environment.</li></ul></p></p>Browse Jobs in Canada by City
