<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p>Salary: $73,000.00 - $115,000.00<br /><p>Job Summary:<br /></p><p>The Primavera P6 Scheduler will assist in scheduling all needs, materials, and personnel at the beginning of each project. P6 Scheduler is responsible for breaking down each project into digestible-sized deliverables and activities.</p><p><br /></p><p>Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Develop, maintain, and update project schedules collaboratively with the project team using Primavera P6.</li><li>Participate in all phases of the construction planning and scheduling process, including creating contracts, procurement, baseline, and tracking schedules.</li><li>Conduct regular project visits to review job status and apply construction sequencing knowledge to maintain project schedules accurately.</li><li>Identify and effectively communicate schedule challenges, risks, and conflicts to stakeholders and provide corrective suggestions and creative solutions.</li><li>Assist the project team in scheduling sequencing, methods of construction, project delays and impacts, alternate work plans, and recovery schedules.</li><li>Participate and provide feedback in project pre-planning, post-construction, and monthly project status review meetings.</li><li>Provide professional guidance and support to the project team to help develop project WBS structures, budgets, resource forecasts, risk registers, progress reports, and standardized reporting.</li><li>Review and analyze cost reports to ensure that costs incurred are consistent with resource plans and progress recorded.</li><li>Oversee change order submittal, negotiation, and approval processes.</li><li>Perform cost estimating when requested.</li><li>Earned Value Management by working with the project manager.</li></ul><p><br /></p><p>Required Skills/Abilities:<br /></p><ul><li>In-depth and strong understanding of the critical path method (CPM) scheduling.</li><li>Experience with earned value management (EVM) and schedule variance analysis</li><li>Excellent organizational and time management skills.</li><li>Strong verbal and written communication abilities.</li></ul><p><br /></p><p>Scheduler Experience Required</p><p> 3+ years experience working with Primavera</p><p> Certification in Planning & Scheduling Professional (PSP) or PMI Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP)</p><p> Experience working on large-scale industrial EPC projects</p></p></p>Browse Jobs in Canada by City
