We only serve Vancouver Island communities (plus Powell River) and pride ourselves on being a family-run business that serves the communities in which we live.<br><br></p><p>* Both part-time and full-time positions available</p><p><br /></p><p>What do we offer?<br /></p><ul><li>Healthy work-life balance</li><li>Flexible schedules</li><li>Extended health and dental plan</li><li>Employee recognition programs and events</li><li>Opportunities for advancement</li><li>Local and engaged management</li><li>Industry training</li><li>A commitment to helping our employees succeed</li></ul><p>Required Qualifications and Skills</p><ul><li>Either possess or be able to obtain a BC Security Workers Licence (Ask us!)<br /></li><li>Valid driver&#39;s licence and own vehicle required</li><li>Flexible availability for morning, afternoon, evening and overnight shifts (*Must be available weekends*) </li><li>The ability to interact with people in a compassionate and respectful manner</li><li>A calm demeanor and sound decision-making skills</li><li>Strong observation skills and ability to complete high-quality reports</li><li>Ability to use computers and smartphones with ease</li><li>Physically fit with the ability to stand and walk patrols, climb stairs, etc.</li><li>Ability to follow security procedures set by our clients and Footprints Security<br /></li><li>Must be proficient in the English language (verbal & written)<br /></li></ul><p>Static Security Guard - General Responsibilities<br /> $18.00 - $20.00 (part-time, could lead to full-time) <em></em><br /></p><ul><li>Provide a security presence in various settings (Offices, Malls, Parks, Events, etc...)</li><li>Provide exceptional customer service to clients and the public</li><li>Ensure client property and personnel are safe secure, providing security inspections for assigned facilities</li><li>Conduct foot patrols, including standing and walking - must be physically fit</li><li>Interact with a wide range of people in varied environments</li><li>Compassionately and respectfully enforce private property laws</li><li>Observe, record, and report activities and security incidents while on shift<br /></li><li>Flexible availability for morning, afternoon, evening and overnight shifts (*Must be available weekends*)<br /></li></ul><p>Mobile Patrol Drivers - General Responsibilities<br /> $21.00 - $23.50 (full-time position)<br /></p><p><br />All of the above static guard responsibilities with the addition of the following:</p><ul><li>At least 1 year of mobile patrol experience is required</li><li>Must be available for night shifts and weekends</li><li>Safely drive a security patrol vehicle to multiple client sites per night<br /></li><li>Ability to get in and out of a vehicle multiple times per night - must be physically fit</li><li>Provide a mobile security presence throughout various areas of the city</li><li>Respond to alarms and varied callouts at client sites<br /></li></ul><p><br /></p><p>We thank all applicants for their interest however only those selected for an interview will be contacted.</p></p></p>
