Proudly based in Whitehorse and 100% locally owned, we take on some of the Yukon’s toughest construction challenges with grit, experience, and teamwork.<br>Our mechanical shop is the powerhouse that keeps our crews moving, and we’re looking for a Shop Supervisor who’s not afraid to roll up their sleeves. If you're an experienced mechanic with a sharp mind for diagnostics and a steady hand for leadership, we want to hear from you.<br><strong>What You'll Do:</strong></p><ul><li>Lead and mentor a skilled team of mechanics and apprentices</li><li>Coordinate shop coverage and site support across all operations</li><li>Assign, prioritize, and oversee repairs, maintenance, and emergency fixes</li><li>Diagnose complex issues and jump in when it counts</li><li>Maintain accurate service records and preventive maintenance schedules</li><li>Support inventory control and parts procurement</li><li>Uphold a safe, clean, and efficient shop environment</li><li>Work closely with project teams to keep equipment field-ready</li></ul><p><strong>What You Bring:</strong></p><ul><li>Red Seal Certification (Heavy Equipment or Automotive Technician preferred) or equivalent experience required</li><li>5+ years’ hands-on mechanical experience (light vehicles, trailers, trucks, and heavy equipment)</li><li>Proven leadership in a shop or field-based environment</li><li>Sharp troubleshooting and diagnostic skills</li><li>Experience with fleet tracking and maintenance systems</li><li>Valid Class 5 driver’s license (Class 1 or 3 is a strong asset)</li></ul><p><strong>What We Offer:</strong></p><ul><li>Competitive wages based on experience</li><li>Full-time, year-round work</li><li>Ongoing training and advancement opportunities</li><li>A tight-knit team and challenging, high-impact northern projects</li><li>Only applicants legally entitled to work in Canada will be considered.</li><li>Only candidates who meet the required qualifications and experience will be contacted.</li></ul>
