<p> About the Role: </p><p> We are seeking a hands-on, experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead our maintenance team in a fast-paced manufacturing or industrial facility in Taber AB .This role will oversee the daily activities of skilled trades, including millwrights, electricians , and other technicians, ensuring machinery and systems operate safely and efficiently. </p><p> Key Responsibilities: </p><ul><li> Supervise, schedule, and support a team of millwrights, electricians , and general maintenance staff. </li><li> Coordinate preventative maintenance programs to reduce downtime and extend equipment life. </li><li> Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control systems in a production environment. </li><li> Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, company policies, and local codes. </li><li> Manage inventory and procurement of maintenance parts and supplies. </li><li> Work closely with production and operations to minimize disruptions and prioritize repairs. </li><li> Maintain maintenance logs, records, and equipment history using CMMS software. </li><li> Provide training and development for trades team members. </li><li> Participate in continuous improvement and reliability initiatives. </li></ul><p> Qualifications: </p><ul><li>3+5 years of Maintenance supervisory experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment . </li></ul><p> Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in Engineering , Industrial Maintenance, or a related field; </p><ul><li> OR </li><li> Red Seal Certification as a Millwright or Industrial Electrician . </li><li> Proven leadership and team-building skills in a unionized site. </li><li> Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics. </li><li> Proficient in using CMMS and Microsoft Office applications. </li><li> Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills. </li></ul>
