The <br />LPN is <br />responsible for ensuring top resident care is a priority, with a high level of focus in time management.</p><p></p><p>We are seeking candidates interested in:</p><p>Part Time Temp 0.5 FTE till Dec 2026<br />Part Time Permanent 0.5 FTE</p><p><br><br></p><p>Skills and key deliverables that will take you further:</p><ul><li>A strong personal commitment to Person Directed Care</li><li>Current familiarity with the Eden Alternative Philosophy and the Domains of Well-Being is preferred</li><li>You are a patient team player flexible, positive motivator, and professional role model</li><li>Full-bodied organizational, communication, and time management skills</li><li>Excellent problem solving and conflict resolution skills, deal effectively with difficult or crisis situations</li><li>Always maintain the highest level of professionalism</li><li>Able to coordinate various business activities within the vision, objectives, and guiding philosophy of Connecting Care</li><li>Strives to attain excellence in Resident, family member and Employee Care Partner satisfaction</li><li>Friendly with a sense of humor and the utmost respect for all persons</li><li>Knowledge of supportive living services, assessment, and care planning</li><li>Lead the team to ensure commitment is understood in achieving person directed services</li><li>Ensuring that care is provided in accordance with nursing best practices, our Well-Being Strategies, quality improvement guidelines, and regulations</li><li>Growing Clinical Mentor Care Partner skills to be effective advocates for the Residents in helping them achieve the highest practicable physical, mental, and spiritual well-being possible</li><li>Performs duties and services required, and Supports the Residents lifestyle in accordance with the Residents individualized Care Plan as authorized by Homecare</li><li>Provides medication assistance to the Residents, according to current Well-Being Strategies</li><li>Mentors and delegates nursing tasks to Care Partners as per accepted practice standards and Wellness Strategies</li><li>Identifies health, safety or maintenance issues, and reports as required</li><li>Ongoing monitoring and continuous quality improvement and adherence to safe work practices</li><li>Provide impartial support and excellent relationship building skills to nurture, understand, and respect residents, families, visitors, and external Care Partners to ensure the vibrancy of our community</li><li>Liaising with Doctors, Pharmacists, Homecare Nurse, Manager, families, and any other people required to facilitate the highest care for the Resident</li><li>Participates in ongoing educational programs to update knowledge on applicable topics</li><li>Attains and maintains ongoing compliance with appropriate local, provincial, and federal regulatory standards</li></ul><p><br><br></p><p>Foundational knowledge and experience to grow from:</p><ul><li>Must be a graduate of a recognized LPN program</li><li>Must be registered and in good standing with their related Licensing Body (CLPNA)</li><li>Must hold valid certification in First Aid and CPR</li><li>Prior to employment, obtain a clear criminal record check with vulnerable sector check</li></ul><p><br><br></p><p>Why Join Our Team?</p><ul><li>Competitive compensation package</li><li>Opportunity for personal and professional growth</li><li>We provide an approach to care that supports the WHOLE person, that upholds their right to a life full of purpose, connection, empowerment, and possibility.*Read more about our philosophy <span >https://www.edenalt.org/</span></li></ul><ul><li>Looking for a happy corporate culture!
