<p>Overview</p><p>Our client, a leading product innovation firm focused on the strategy, design, and development of cutting-edge apps, is hiring a Presales Sales Consultant based in GTA. This is a remote position.</p><p><b>Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li>Prepare proposals in response to RFPs and estimation requests.</li><li>Prepare pitches and proposals for unsolicited deals.</li><li>Manage end-to-end proposal processes to meet deadlines.</li><li>Write and integrate final responses from various stakeholders, including tech editing and timely submission with commercials.</li><li>Attend meetings with potential clients.</li><li>Analyze and assess client requests to define project scope.</li><li>Break down complex or vague requirements into manageable tasks.</li><li>Explore unknowns and propose solutions that are feasible for sales and delivery.</li><li>Identify risks and constraints for proposed solutions and ongoing projects.</li><li>Articulate decisions, rationales, and assumptions with clients and internal teams.</li><li>Determine the best course of action on technical uncertainties, including effort estimates.</li><li>Estimate project effort for each department and recommend optimal costs and timelines.</li><li>Visualize component stacks, dependencies, and data flows with architecture diagrams.</li><li>Enhance proposals with app designs, innovative ideas, product ROI, and architecture diagrams.</li><li>Conduct competitor and market analysis to strengthen value propositions during bids.</li><li>Contribute to internal process improvements and tooling development.</li><li>Collaborate with on-site and offshore teams.</li><li>Continuously improve proposal templates.</li><li>Understand and define API specifications (server-side and client-side).</li><li>Ensure technology standards and best practices are current.</li><li>Identify sales leads through market research.</li><li>Profile prospects and identify sales opportunities via market news and events.</li><li>Demonstrate leadership, a passion for delivering great products, a strong work ethic, collaboration skills, and a focus on clients and team members.</li><li>Coordinate with on-site and offshore development teams.</li></ul><p><b>Required Qualifications</b></p><p><b>Must-Have Skills</b></p><ul><li>A highly technical background (e.g., Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or relevant field).</li><li>3-5 years of professional experience.</li><li>Experience working on iOS, Android, Web, or API projects.</li><li>Experience creating various technical diagrams with tools.</li><li>Understanding of Agile methodology.</li><li>Experience in solution architecture.</li><li>Comfort with task estimation.</li><li>Resourcefulness in researching information through experimentation or documentation exploration.</li><li>Paranoia about project risks and proactive worst-case planning.</li><li>Ability to work autonomously, prioritize, and manage multiple projects efficiently.</li><li>Impeccable attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Proven track record of leading successful projects through the software development lifecycle.</li></ul>
