We specialize in placing short-term and seasonal employees, allowing you control over your schedule and a chance to explore a multitude of projects. </p><p>We&#39;re seeking skilled <strong>Carpenters (Journeyman & Apprentices)</strong> to join our roster. <br /></p><p>Hands-on experience in working with carpentry materials is required. Preference will be given to those with experience in installing & dismantling modular camp / structures. These positions will require you to be available for remote project work for multiple weeks. Successful candidates must be willing to travel and work across Western Canada.</p><p><strong>Job Description and Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction</li><li>Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools (powered saws, hammers, rulers etc.)</li><li>Competence in safely lifting, carrying, and moving construction materials, tools, and equipment</li><li>Ability to read technical documents and drawings</li><li>Ability to take direction and follow instructions to support a safe work environment</li><li>Proficiency in basic math for calculating material needs, costs, and measurements</li><li>Ability to work meticulously and pay close attention to detail to achieve high-quality work and ensure client satisfaction</li><li>Physical stamina with the capability of performing physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy materials, standing for long periods, and working in various positions</li><li>Ability to work outdoor in all weather conditions</li><li>Valid Class 5 Driver&#39;s License with reliable transportation is an asset</li></ul><p><strong>Required Tool List:</strong></p><ul><li>Tool Pouch</li><li>Hammer</li><li>Tape Measure</li><li>Pencils</li><li>Square</li><li>Nail Pick</li><li>Chalk Line</li><li>Knife</li><li>Tin Snips</li><li>Pliers</li><li>Chisel</li><li>Cordless Drill or Impact</li></ul><p><strong><strong>Certifications Preferred:</strong></strong></p><ul><li>Journeyperson Certification and/or Interprovincial Red Seal or Valid Apprenticeship<br /></li><li>CSTS Construction Safety Training System</li><li>Standard First Aid & CPR Level C</li><li>Fall Protection</li><li>Aerial Work Platform</li><li>Drug and alcohol testing and a criminal record check may be required</li></ul><p><em></em><em><em>We thank you for your interest in Sideworx Connect Inc. and if you think you would be a good fit for our team, we look forward to hearing from you.
