As an Insurance Sales Representative, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and providing exceptional customer service. This role requires a strong sales background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping others.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Generate leads and actively seek out new business opportunities through various channels, including cold calling, networking, and referrals</li><li>Conduct thorough needs analysis to understand clients&#39; insurance requirements and recommend suitable coverage options</li><li>Present and explain insurance policies to potential clients, ensuring they understand the terms and conditions, coverage limits, and exclusions</li><li>Customize insurance programs to meet clients&#39; specific needs and budget constraints</li><li>Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, including prospecting efforts, sales presentations, and follow-ups</li><li>Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing ongoing support and addressing any inquiries or concerns</li><li>Stay up-to-date with industry trends, product knowledge, and regulatory changes to effectively advise clients on insurance options</li><li>Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the company</li></ul><p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Level 1 Alberta General Insurance License </li><li>Sales experience (outside sales or inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing) preferred</li><li>Successful track record of meeting sales goals/quotas preferred</li><li>Excellent interpersonal skills</li><li>Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and listening</li><li>Proactive in problem-solving</li><li>Dedicated to customer service</li><li>Ability to multi-task</li><li>Ability to make presentations to potential customers</li><li>LLQP License (preferred/must be able to obtain)</li></ul><p><strong>Benefits:</strong></p><ul><li>Competitive base salary plus commission structure</li><li>Comprehensive health insurance plan</li><li>Paid time off and holidays</li><li>Ongoing training and professional development opportunities</li><li>Collaborative and supportive work environment</li></ul><p></p><p><strong>How to Apply:</strong></p><p>If you are a motivated individual with a passion for sales and helping others, we would love to hear from you.
