<p>Role:- IT Applications Audit Consultant</p><p>Work Location: Toronto ON</p><p>Employment Type: Contract</p><p><br></p><p>Job Title: IT Applications Audit Consultant</p><p><br></p><p>Job Description:</p><p><br></p><p>The Senior IT Applications Auditor is a specialist role within IA and reports to the Senior Manager, IT Application Audit. This role involves significant client interaction and management of multiple relationships.</p><p><br></p><p>- Assist the Director IT Application Audit in planning, executing and reporting audit work</p><p>- Execute multiple complex high profile audit engagements</p><p>- Work with business auditors to understand critical controls (including data quality assurance) enabled by IT applications</p><p>- Identify opportunities for developing and using analytics during audit execution</p><p>- Assess how applications support business processing</p><p>- Ensure proper coverage and consideration of auditing principles, practice and assigned time/budget</p><p><br></p><p>Critical Skills or Must Haves:</p><p><br></p><p>Proven ability to work in multiple tasks/projects</p><p>Ability to understand complex business processes and identify key risks and controls</p><p>Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate, influence and network effectively</p><p>Excellent written and communication skills, with ability to lead meetings</p><p>Pro-active, dedicated, flexible, demonstrating good practical judgement and taking initiative</p><p>Team player, ability to multi-task, detail oriented, strong commitment to quality, and consultative skills</p><p>Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and ability to understand complex business processes, their risks and identify key controls</p>
