<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><p>Securiguard is now accepting applicants to join our team of<strong> Industrial Security Guards</strong>. Securiguard has proven expertise in deploying security personnel across BC into remote areas for work in mining camps, oil and gas sites (including pipelines) and hydroelectric facilities such as dams.</p><p><strong>Location:</strong> Fort St. John, British Columbia</p><p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Must live in the Fort St. John/Dawson Creek area</li><li>Be able to pass pre-employment drug screening test & agree not to consume drugs or alcohol while deployed</li><li>Work a 12-hour shifts (day or night) and must be physically fit to work in a remote location</li><li>Must be comfortable working in a wilderness setting for extended periods of time</li><li>Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Must have open availability & be able to work morning or night shifts</li></ul><p><strong>Additional Information:</strong></p><ul><li>Full uniform provided including PPE</li><li>Daily wage includes overtime after 8 hours</li></ul><p><strong>Candidate Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Valid BC Security License</li><li>Local residents only</li><li>Customer service experience</li><li>Ability to pass a drug and alcohol exam</li><li>Must have a personal vehicle</li><li>Class 5 Driver&#39;s License</li><li>Bear Aware preferred</li><li>CSTS or PCST depending on the site (Asset)</li><li>WHIMIS Preferred</li><li>OFA</li><li>Clean Driver Abstract</li></ul><p><strong>Who we are:</strong></p><p>At Securiguard we believe in living and acting by our values: R.E.A.C.H.</p><p><strong>Respect · Empathy · Accountability · Courtesy & · Honesty</strong></p><p>We&#39;re in the business of making people feel safe.
