Our reputation for quality, service, and integrity has made us a leader in the Canadian electrical utilities market.<br /></p><p></p><p><strong>Position Overview</strong></p><p>We’re seeking a <strong>skilled and experienced Industrial Mechanic (Millwright)</strong> to support our manufacturing operations in <strong>Spruce Grove, Alberta</strong>. The ideal candidate will bring solid hands-on mechanical experience, a strong safety mindset, and the physical capability to handle the demands of a fast-paced production environment.</p><p>You’ll install, maintain, and repair industrial machinery to ensure our production equipment operates efficiently and safely with minimal downtime.<br /></p><p></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><p></p><ul><li>Work with our preventative maintenance software to minimize equipment downtime</li><li>Install, align, dismantle, and move stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment, such as pumps, fans, tanks, conveyors, and generators.</li><li>Operate hoisting and lifting devices to position machinery and parts during installation, set-up, and repair.</li><li>Inspect and examine machinery and equipment to detect and investigate irregularities and malfunctions.</li><li>Install, troubleshoot, and maintain power transmission, vacuum, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, as well as programmable logic controls.</li><li>Adjust machinery and repair or replace defective parts.</li><li>Operate machine tools to fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance, or set-up of machinery.</li><li>Clean, lubricate, and perform other routine maintenance work on machinery.</li><li>Construct foundations for machinery or direct other workers to construct foundations.</li><li>Assemble machinery and equipment prior to installation using hand and power tools and welding equipment.<br /></li></ul><p></p><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><p></p><ul><li>Significant hands-on experience as a Millwright, Industrial Mechanic, or similar role in a manufacturing or industrial setting. </li><li><strong>Red Seal or Journeyman certification is </strong><em><strong>not required</strong></em><strong>,</strong> but strong practical experience is essential. </li><li> Proven knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems. </li><li> Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics. </li><li> Skilled in using hand and power tools, lifting equipment, and precision measuring instruments. </li><li> Demonstrated commitment to safety, reliability, and teamwork. </li><li> Physically capable of safely lifting and working with materials and equipment over 20 kg. </li></ul><p></p><p><strong>Skills & Attributes:</strong></p><p></p><ul><li>Strong safety mindset with a demonstrated ability to follow lockout/tagout procedures, PPE protocols,
