As a leading dealership, we specialize in Bobcat, Develon Heavy Equipment, Bobcat forklifts, Precision Trailers, and Grasshopper products. Our robust sales and service teams, coupled with a comprehensive parts inventory, ensure exceptional support for our valued customers We are currently looking for a full-time Heavy Equipment Technician (Preferably 3 rd -4 th year apprentice or Journeyman) to join our Service team.<br/>As the Heavy Equipment Technician, you are responsible for: <ul><li> Troubleshooting and completing diagnostic repairs </li><li> Completing the installation of new and added on equipment </li><li> Cleaning, lubricating, and other maintenance work </li><li> Ordering replacement equipment, parts, and supplies </li><li> Maintaining a working knowledge of changes in technology and repair techniques </li><li> Traveling to customer locations to diagnose, service, and repair equipment </li></ul> You have the following skills and education: <ul><li> Journeyman Heavy Duty Technician, or a registered 3 rd or 4 th year HET apprentice with your own tools </li><li> Class 5 drivers’ licence with a clean abstract and the ability to go on service calls when required </li><li> Experience working on bobcats, loaders, generators, man-lifts, etc. </li><li> Knowledge of power, electrical, and hydraulic systems </li><li> Ability to be flexible and to work well under pressure </li></ul> You are able to work in the following conditions: <ul><li>40 hours a week plus on-call and overtime when required </li><li> Working both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions, both at our shop and at customer locations </li><li> Lifting up to 50lbs. </li><li> Working while wearing PPE required including steel-toed boots and safety glasses </li></ul> Bobcat of the Peace offers: <ul><li> Competitive wages and comprehensive benefits </li><li> RRSP/DPSP program </li><li> Stable, year-round employment with great hours (Monday-Friday from 8:00- 5:00 pm with occasional over time)</li><li> Tuition Reimbursement for apprenticeships </li><li> Dealer specific training </li><li> Free rentals and employee discount </li><li> Promote from within policy </li><li> Employee Referral Bonus </li><li> Fantastic team to work with </li><li> Monthly cake days to celebrate birthdays and work anniversaries </li></ul><p> Powered by JazzHR </p><p> Compensation details: 39.04-48.8 Hourly Wage </p><p> PI6005bde13eed-30492-38018489</p>
