We are interested in long-term relationships that are built on trust,<br />transparency and top-quality service.<br /><strong></strong></p><p><br /></p><p><strong>The Opportunity:</strong></p><p>As a Hazmat Responder you will be joining the Field Operations Team in our Response<br />Division, providing impeccable service to a dynamic group of companies. You will be<br />responsible for you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe handling, transportation,<br />and disposal of hazardous materials. You should have a high degree of mechanical<br />aptitude, manual dexterity and excellent problem-solving skills. We have a diverse<br />portfolio of projects going on in various locations, you should be flexible to relocate<br />frequently.</p><p><br /><strong>RAM Environmental Group</strong> is dedicated to providing top-quality environmental response<br />and remediation services that consider community and first-nation partnerships. By developing meaningful<br />collaborations between individuals and communities alike, our vision is to create a more<br />sustainable tomorrow - one project at a time!</p><p><br /></p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong><br /> Capable of leading team members on job sites<br /> Perform hazardous material spill response and cleanup activities following established protocols<br />and regulations.<br /> Safely operate specialized equipment and tools used in hazmat cleanup and containment.<br /> Conduct site assessments to determine the nature and extent of hazardous materials present.<br /> Implement appropriate containment, mitigation, and disposal procedures to minimize<br />environmental impact.<br /> Collaborate with team members to ensure effective communication and coordination during<br />emergency response situations.<br /> Maintain accurate records of materials handled, actions taken, and cleanup processes.<br /> Participate in ongoing training and development to stay current with hazmat regulations and<br />best practices.<br /> Assist in the maintenance and calibration of hazmat response equipment.<br /> Shop maintenance<br /><strong></strong></p><p><br /></p><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong><br /> Valid Driver's Licence<br /> Clean Driver's Abstract<br /> NFPA 1072 - Hazardous Materials Emergency Response Technician<br /> Prior experience in handling hazardous materials, spill response, or related fields is preferred<br /> Strong understanding of federal, provincial, and local regulations related to hazardous materials</p><p><br /></p><p><strong>Compensation:</strong></p><p>Hourly $35-$40Based on experience</p><p>Overtime</p><p>LOA</p><p><br /></p><p><strong>Schedule:</strong><br />Full time<br />Overtime<br />Day Shift<br />Night Shift<br />On Call<br />Weekend Availability<br />Travel</p><p><br /><strong>Vacation:</strong></p><p>2 weeks</p><p><br /><strong>Benefits:</strong><br />Comprehensive benefits package<br />RRSP Program<br />Onsite Parking</p><p><br />If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment with a dynamic team atmosphere, please submit your<br />resume and cover letter by email to: <span >careers@ramoperations.ca</span><br />We thank all candidates for their interest, however only those selected for an interview<br />will be contacted.</p></p></p>Browse Jobs in Canada by City
