<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Prepare and cook food according to recipes and customer orders.</li><li>Ensure that all food is cooked to the proper temperature.</li><li>Meat prep during the shift to make sure raw material is ready at the time of orders.</li><li>Operate grills, fryers, and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.</li><li>Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies.</li><li>Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces)</li><li>Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion</li><li>Maintain a clean and sanitary work area.</li><li>Monitor food inventory and order supplies as needed.</li><li>Follow safety procedures for storing and handling food.</li><li>All other tasks related to kitchen as and when needed.</li><li>Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers.</li><li>Oversee the overall hygiene of the store.</li></ul><p><strong>Skills</strong></p><ul><li>Proven grill experience, including cooking chicken burgers, beef burgers.</li><li>Ability to stand and operate grill for long durations.</li><li>Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks</li><li>Familiar with industry’s best practices</li></ul><p><strong>Ability to commute:</strong></p><ul><li>Kitchener, ON (required)</li><li>The training (approx. 2 weeks) would happen in Brampton. Reliable commute to training location is preferred.</li></ul><p><strong>Experience:</strong></p><ul><li>Cooking: 1 year (preferred)</li></ul><p><strong><span >License/Certification:</span></strong></p><ul><li>Food Handler Certification (preferred)</li></ul></p>Company Description<p>Burger Factory Kitchener is looking for an experienced Grill Cook to join our team.
