Situated in the town of Canmore, the Grizzly Brewing Company has been in operation since 1996. Our brewing operations include a 20,000 square foot landmark brewery, a pub, restaurant, taproom, and event space. </strong></p><p><strong>We are looking for an outgoing and knowledgeable colleague who is willing to learn and ready to provide our customers with memorable experiences! </strong></p><p><strong>As the Floor Supervisor, you'll be a key player in the excitement, supporting the General Manager in creating exceptional experiences.</strong></p><p><strong> Your responsibilities will include: </strong></p><ul><li><strong>Collaborating in overseeing all aspects of the restaurants operations</strong></li><li><strong>Assisting in leading the pub team towards excellence in customer service, colleague retention, and brand profitability </strong></li><li><strong>Acting as a role model for professionalism and an ambassador for The Grizzly Paw brand </strong></li><li><strong>Contributing to creative food and beverage menus and service standards </strong></li><li><strong>Participating in the development and implementation of innovative promotional events </strong></li><li><strong>Supporting effective recruitment, training, and development strategies for all team members </strong></li><li><strong>Assisting in ensuring compliance with AGLC and AHS licensing and regulatory requirements </strong></li><li><strong>Playing a role in meeting monthly financial goals and contributing to annual budget preparation </strong></li><li><strong>Contributing to the development of company-wide strategic plans </strong></li><li><strong>Supporting the maintenance of operational task lists, SOPs, and adherence to health, safety, and sanitation guidelines </strong></li><li><strong>Considering the environmental impact in all decision-making processes </strong></li></ul><p><strong></strong></p><p><strong>Qualifications and Education: To thrive in this adventure, you'll need:</strong><strong> </strong></p><ul><li><strong>Previous leadership experience in a food & beverage environment </strong></li><li><strong>Broad operational knowledge, covering both front and back of house </strong></li><li><strong>Strong culinary and beverage knowledge, with a focus on craft beer </strong></li><li><strong>Degree in Hotel/Restaurant Management or related discipline (a strong asset) </strong></li><li><strong>Financial statement analysis skills </strong></li><li><strong>Strong computer skills and social media platform knowledge </strong></li><li><strong>Innovative, creative, and willing to take risks </strong></li><li><strong>Results-oriented with the ability to thrive under pressure </strong></li><li><strong>Excellent interpersonal skills, with strong written and verbal communication abilities </strong></li></ul><p><strong>What We’re Looking For:</strong></p><p> <strong>18+ years old</strong><br /> <strong>Fast-paced hospitality experience</strong><br /> <strong>Current ProServe certification</strong> (Cicerone Beer Server is a bonus!)<br /> <strong>Team-first mentality & a can-do attitude</strong><br /> <strong>Able to lift up to 50lbs</strong><br /> <strong>Passion for craft beer & mountain culture</strong></p><p><strong>What We’re NOT Looking For:</strong></p><p> People who leave a drop of milk in the carton and put it back in the fridge (may chaos reign upon you)</p><p> People who don't return their shopping carts (no humanity, no morals)</p><p> People who text "k." instead of "ok" (we don't trust you)</p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>Why You’ll Love It Here:</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Work with one of Alberta’s OG Craft Breweries in the stunning Rocky Mountains</strong>– We're far past our growing pains, which means a smoother work environment for you—but don’t get too comfy.
