This multifaceted role offers exposure to real estate, industrial operations, and diversified investments. The ideal candidate will bring strong financial acumen, leadership in full-cycle accounting, and the ability to manage complex reporting requirements across multiple entities.<br><br><strong>Your Success Will Be Defined By Your Ability To<br><br></strong><ul><li>Review and oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual property financial statements prepared by property managers.</li><li>Ensure accuracy of rent rolls, recoveries, capital expenditures, and leasing costs.</li><li>Work closely with asset managers and property managers to provide financial insight and variance analysis.</li><li>Serve as the junior controller for a growing industrial business which would include managing all aspects of full-cycle accounting: month-end close, bank reconciliations, accruals, payables, receivables, and payroll oversight.</li><li>Collaborate with operational leadership to provide financial reporting, analysis, and insights to support decision-making.</li><li>Prepare consolidated financial statements and investment reporting packages for holding companies and investment entities.</li><li>Coordinate with external tax advisors and auditors.</li><li>Maintain intercompany accounting records and capital structures.</li><li>Support cash flow planning, treasury management, and ad hoc analysis.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Your strengths include:<br><br></strong><ul><li>CPA designation is mandatory.</li><li>Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance; public accounting foundation required (ideally audit or assurance).</li><li>Strong understanding of ASPE and investment accounting.</li><li>Advanced Excel skills; experience with accounting software and cloud-based systems is an asset.</li><li>Excellent attention to detail with the ability to see the big picture.</li><li>Self-starter with exceptional organizational and time management skills.</li><li>Not afraid to speak up, ask tough questions, and push for better outcomes.</li><li>Comfortable adapting to shifting priorities and handling multiple responsibilities simultaneously.<br><br></li></ul>If you are interested in this role and meet the above criteria, please click the “<strong>Apply</strong>” button to send your resume directly to <strong>Eric Motuzas.<br><br></strong><strong>Recruitment Partners Inc</strong>. is an Alberta-based, Alberta-focused recruitment firm.
