<p><strong>InVision is a Professional Recruitment Firm involved in Engineering, Industrial/Skilled Trades, Information Technology and Professional Services within Canada and the U.S. We have a successful track record working on both small and large recruitment projects, across North America.</strong></p><p>Our client, who specialize in touchless biometric identification using face recognition and temperature detection to enhance security, health, and productivity for businesses, is currently looking for a Finance Manager to join their growing team. In this role you will be reporting to CFO.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Establish and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial data.</li><li>Implement improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial processes.</li><li>Monitors and confirms financial condition by conducting periodic internal audits to assess compliance with policies and procedures and providing information to Management.</li><li>Develop and maintain financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.</li><li>Analyze financial data and performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.</li><li>Provide actionable insights to support decision-making by senior management.</li><li>Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, in accordance with GAAP.</li><li>Coordinate and oversee the preparation of regulatory reporting and compliance requirements.</li><li>Ensure compliance with all applicable accounting standards and regulations.</li><li>Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions and reconciliation of accounts.</li><li>Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits and regulatory filings.</li><li>Manage cash flow, including forecasting and monitoring of cash balances.</li><li>Optimize working capital and liquidity to support operational needs and strategic initiatives.</li><li>Prepare adhoc reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.</li><li>Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, anticipating future legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, filing financial reports, and advising management on needed actions.</li><li>Responsible for monthly payroll and benefits</li><li>Maintains financial staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.</li><li>Protects operations by keeping financial information and plans confidential.</li><li>Manage the consolidation of financials across 6+ legal entities, converting native currencies to USD and ensuring accurate monthly close processes.</li><li>Oversee transaction recording, account reconciliations, and resolution of outstanding financial queries to maintain accurate financial reporting.</li><li>Supervise inventory accounting activities, including work order and gross margin reviews, quarantine tracking, and physical inventory counts.</li><li>Coordinate ERP system issue resolution and approve all changes to financial master data to ensure system integrity and compliance.</li><li>Oversee the preparation and timely distribution of all financial reports, including daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting.</li><li>Manage departmental actual-to-budget reviews, update year-end estimates, and ensure accurate monthly MIS reporting to management.</li><li>Ensure completion of monthly bank reporting and quarterly investor reporting in line with stakeholder requirements.</li><li>Maintain accurate and timely weekly cash and inventory forecasts, ensuring alignment with shipments, procurement, and cash flow planning.</li><li>Lead annual external audits (Canada and India), draft financial statements with disclosures, and ensure accurate reporting for quarterly Board packages.</li><li>Oversee internal audits of key financial controls, ensure policy compliance, and manage annual insurance review and renewal.</li><li>Maintain accuracy of financial data including price books, intercompany transfer pricing agreements, and review ECOs for financial impact.</li><li>Responsible for ensuring all local state taxes are properly recorded and filed (i.e. Canada, US, Dubai and India).</li><li>Responsible for the coordination of the annual budget cycle and ensuring information is available for Board approval</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field;
