We are entering a growth phase and seeking to modernize our processes while maintaining our reputation for high-quality craftsmanship.<br><br><strong>Position Overview:</strong><br />We are looking for an experienced Estimator to join our team. This role will handle all aspects of estimating, cost tracking, and change order management. The Estimator will play a critical role in preconstruction, project handoff, and ongoing financial control, ensuring profitable project execution and supporting the company’s growth strategy<br><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Prepare detailed estimates for civil, boardwalk, and golf course projects, including takeoffs and pricing.</li><li>Manage all tenders, RFPs, and informal quote processes.</li><li>Coordinate subcontractor and supplier pricing and maintain cost database.</li><li>Develop and track project budgets from award through completion.</li><li>Monitor actual costs versus budgets, providing regular cost reports and insights.</li><li>Create, price, and track change orders, ensuring timely submission and approval.</li><li>Support project managers and operations with scope clarifications and handoff documentation.</li><li>Continuously update estimating databases with real-world cost data for improved accuracy</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>5+ years of estimating experience in civil or heavy construction (boardwalk/golf experience is an asset).</li><li>Strong understanding of cost control, change order processes, and construction contracts (CCDC preferred).</li><li>Proficiency with estimating and takeoff software.</li><li>Excellent Excel and data analysis skills for cost tracking.</li><li>Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with field and office staff.</li><li>Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines simultaneously.</li></ul><p><strong>Compensation:</strong><br />Competitive salary based on experience, plus performance-based bonuses, vehicle allowance, and<br />benefits.
