<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong><ul><li><p>Assist in the development of conceptual and detailed process designs</p></li><li><p>Perform process simulations using engineering software</p></li><li><p>Create and revise process flow diagrams (PFDs) and piping & instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs)</p></li><li><p>Prepare and update equipment datasheets and line lists</p></li><li><p>Assist with the sizing and specification of equipment, valves, and instrumentation</p></li><li><p>Support in the development of control narratives and cause-and-effect diagrams</p></li><li><p>Participate in HAZOP reviews and 3D model reviews</p></li><li><p>Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams on project proposals and deliverables</p></li><li><p>Ensure that all work complies with company standards and industry codes</p></li><li><p>Liaise with project managers and clients as required</p></li></ul><strong>Qualifications:</strong><ul><li><p>Completion of a <strong>2–3 year post-secondary diploma</strong> in mechanical, chemical, or process engineering technology</p></li><li><p>1–3 years of experience in an industrial, oil & gas, or process engineering environment preferred</p></li><li><p>Proficient with engineering software such as Aspen HYSYS, AutoCAD, or similar</p></li><li><p>Strong understanding of P&IDs, equipment design, and control systems</p></li><li><p>Excellent communication and teamwork skills</p></li><li><p>Enrollment in ASET or eligibility considered an asset</p></li></ul><strong>Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:</strong><ul><li><p>Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines</p></li><li><p>Occasional field or shop visits</p></li><li><p>Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects</p></li></ul><strong>What We Offer:</strong><ul><li><p>Competitive compensation and benefits</p></li><li><p>Opportunities for professional growth</p></li><li><p>A collaborative and innovative team environment</p></li><li><p>On-site parking and modern facilities in Airdrie, AB</p></li></ul></p></p>
