If you are a committed and collaborative professional looking to contribute to a hard-working, innovative team, this opportunity is for you. </p><p>The Endpoint Technical Specialist is located in Markham, Ontario and reports directly to the Service Desk Manager. </p><p>The Endpoint Technical Specialist is responsible for administrating and configuring the endpoint environment at Black & McDonald. This includes Microsoft Intune, Manage Engine, Rapid 7, O365 & Active Directory. This role is split equally between project-based initiatives and providing troubleshooting support for existing systems.</p><p></p><p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Deploy, configure, and manage</strong> endpoint devices using Microsoft Intune.</li><li><strong>Develop and implement Intune policies</strong> for device compliance, configuration, and security.</li><li><strong>Automate tasks and processes</strong> using PowerShell and other scripting languages.</li><li><strong>Troubleshoot and resolve</strong> complex issues related to endpoint management.</li><li><strong>Collaborate with IT teams</strong> to integrate systems.</li><li><strong>Monitor, remediate, and report</strong> on the health and compliance of managed devices.</li><li><strong>Provide training and support</strong> for IT staff in technical functionalities and best practices.</li><li><strong>Escalations </strong>handling from Level 1 team.</li></ul><p><strong>KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED:</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Education:</strong> Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.</li><li><strong>Experience:</strong><ul><li><strong></strong>3-5 years of experience in endpoint management, with a focus on Microsoft Intune.</li><li>Proven experience in deploying and managing devices using Intune.</li></ul></li><li>Technical Skills:<ul><li>Expertise in Microsoft Intune, including policy creation, device enrollment, and compliance management.</li><li>Experience with scripting (PowerShell, VBScript) is required.</li><li>Ability to create and manage profiles, manage apps and create compliance rules.</li><li>Experience administering in an Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, and Office 365 environments.</li><li>Vulnerability Management skills for desktop OS class is required.</li><li>Solid networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, and Radius)</li><li>Experience working within a structured process methodology (i.e., ITIL)</li><li>Familiarity with other endpoint management tools, Autopilot, Rapid7, and Manage Engine Endpoint Central.</li><li>Knowledge of Windows, iOS, and Android operating systems.</li></ul></li><li>Soft Skills:<ul><li>Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.</li><li>Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.</li><li>Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.</li></ul></li></ul><p>Black & McDonald welcomes and encourages applications from persons with disabilities.
