Additionally, our Professional Engineering Group, Rotating Machinery Division, Renewable Energy Services, and Field Repair and local Repair Service Centers, places Shermco in a position to handle all things electrical, all done with an emphasis on safety and client service. </em></p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><strong><u>Position Description</u></strong></p><p><em>Join our team of leaders in electrical power system maintenance, repair, testing & training. Due to continued growth, we are seeking an electrical estimator. Shermco is accredited by NETA and is a founding member. Shermco has one of the largest field services divisions in the industry.</em></p><p><br></p><p><strong><u>Job Responsibilities:</u></strong></p><ul><li>Generate revenue by soliciting and obtaining orders, understanding and interpreting technical requirements, providing technical information, and developing accounts.</li><li>Support sales initiatives set forth by sales leaders.</li><li>Develop sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts, soliciting new account, building rapport, providing technical information and explanations, and preparing quotations.</li><li>Develop new accounts by answering telephone and e-mail inquiries and verifying and entering information.</li><li>Work with outside sales team to support job walks, customer meetings, RFP submittals to generate new revenue.</li><li>Maintain communication with new and growth accounts to develop into stable anchor accounts.</li><li>Update job knowledge by studying service offerings and participating in educational opportunities.</li><li>Accomplish department and organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests.</li><li>Explore opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong><u>Qualifications:</u></strong></p><ul><li>A recent EE graduate, ideally with electrical testing or estimating experience but we will consider someone who has experience with electrical schematics (able to read and understand one-line diagrams) AND strong Excel (Pivot tables, etc.) OR we will consider someone without a degree with electrical estimating experience and Excel (Pivot tables, etc.) OR we will consider an electrical technician or electrician who has an interest in estimating and has strong Excel (pivot tables) skills.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to be self-directed and highly motivated</li><li>Strong interpersonal, communication, written and oral presentation skills and solid understanding of profitability and other financial measurements;</li><li>Strong sales skills including and effective negotiation skills, ability to successfully interact with key customer decision makers and influencers, and ability to prospect new customers and forecast future business;</li><li>Advanced computer skills with the following software: Excel, Word, Adobe, Bluebeam, Microsoft Outlook;</li><li>Salesforce experience is desired but not required</li><li>Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently</li></ul><p></p>
