There are two ministries—Discipleship and Worship. A part time position could be one of either ministries or the fulltime position combines both.</p><p><em><strong>Church Description:</strong></em> Faith Church, a member of the Evangelical Missionary Church of Canada, has been part of the Kitchener - Waterloo - Cambridge community for 65 years. We want to become a united church of nations boldly reaching the Waterloo Region in the power of the Holy Spirit!</p><p><em><strong>Position Description:</strong></em> Provide leadership for discipleship and worship ministry.</p><p><em><strong>Qualifications:</strong></em></p><p>A suitable applicant should exhibit:</p><p>• A personal, passionate relationship with God which is growing and being shared with others.</p><p>• Share our passions of evangelism, unity in Christ and seeking to be Spirit-empowered.</p><p>• A musical gifting for worship leading.</p><p>• Excellent in organizational and administrative tasks.</p><p>• Theological training is preferred (youth, theology, church ministry), or are open to pursuingsupplementary education for ministry excellence.</p><p>• Preference given to individuals with experience and understanding of our Canadian multicultural demographic.</p><p><em><strong>Ministry of Youth Discipleship</strong></em></p><p>Be involved with the Jr. & Sr. High students (gr. 6-12) by:</p><p>• Discipling the youth leaders and leading alongside them.</p><p>• Overseeing the teaching and overall program.</p><p>• Recruiting and training youth leaders to help disciple students.</p><p>• Encouraging and equipping parents to biblically raise their children.</p><p><em><strong>Ministry of Group Discipleship</strong></em></p><p>Be directly involved with the Lead Pastor in maturing the church by:</p><p>•Providing leadership training for small group ministry.</p><p>•Ability to organize and integrate people into small groups based on location, interest and needs.</p><p>•Communicates effectively both verbally and in writing.</p><p>•Supporting volunteer leaders: Young Adult’s, Men’s and Women’s, Senior’s Ministry, Bible Studyleaders and providing leadership if needed.</p><p>•Assisting in organizing with the Lead Pastor in occasional church-wide events for discipleship (eg,Prayer events, workshops/seminars).</p><p><em><strong>Ministry of Worship</strong></em></p><p>• Regularly leading the worship teams on Sunday mornings.</p><p>• Strategically planning the Sunday morning worship services alongside the Lead Pastor.</p><p>• Scheduling the worship teams / bands for Sunday morning and other special worship events.</p><p>• Recruiting, equipping and training leaders for the Sunday morning services in the areas of music,</p><p>• Supervising the “Planning Center” database to plan the services, coordinate ministry assignments, and check-in or register members.</p><p>• Proficient with social media for communication, discipleship/encouraging people throughout theweek, and showcasing highlights of our services or spiritual growth.</p><p>• Ability to update, maintain, and improve our church’s website regularly.</p><p>• Providing input into Faith’s tech ministries to create engaging and edifying online services.</p><p><em><strong>Send resume and coverletter to:</strong></em>devin.ryckman@faithchurch.ca</p>
