You’ll oversee systems, scheduling, resourcing, budgeting, and day-to-day delivery to ensure smooth, high-quality execution across projects.</p><p>This role requires a senior leader with deep production knowledge and strong operational instincts — someone who can see the big picture, build processes, guide the team, and maintain margin discipline without getting lost in the weeds.</p><p>With a small in-house team and a broad freelance network, your leadership will bring clarity, consistency, and confidence to the way our work gets delivered.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key ResponsibilitiesStudio & Operational Leadership</strong></p><ul><li>Lead daily operations of the studio, ensuring efficient, consistent delivery across all projects</li><li>Develop and manage internal systems and workflows across production, post, and operations</li><li>Maintain studio-wide visibility into active projects, capacity, timelines, and deliverables</li><li>Collaborate with leadership and producers to implement scalable delivery frameworks</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Team & Resource Management</strong></p><ul><li>Manage a small but growing internal operations team</li><li>Forecast and allocate resourcing for active and upcoming projects</li><li>Oversee project scheduling, bookings, and workload distribution across internal staff and external collaborators</li><li>Support team development through mentorship, training, and operational guidance</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Contractor Coordination & Workflow Oversight</strong></p><ul><li>Manage contractor scheduling, engagement, and coordination across departments</li><li>Maintain clear processes for onboarding, communication, and performance tracking for freelancers</li><li>Ensure project workflows between internal and external collaborators are smooth and deadline-driven</li><li>Partner with producers to support cross-functional coordination across production and post</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Budgeting & Financial Alignment</strong></p><ul><li>Track project delivery budgets and flag risks related to overages, scope changes, or misalignment</li><li>Ensure contractor and resource allocations align with approved project budgets</li><li>Support financial reporting by providing input on timelines, utilization, and delivery costs</li><li>Help maintain operational cost discipline through proactive resourcing and process planning</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Cross-Team & Global Coordination</strong></p><ul><li>Coordinate logistics and resources across global project timelines and remote production teams</li><li>Ensure workflows, tools, and documentation scale across locations and teams</li><li>Support delivery continuity across departments and time zones</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>15+ years in media production, operations, or studio management</li><li>Deep understanding of production and post workflows across various content formats</li><li>Demonstrated experience overseeing budgets, delivery schedules, and resource allocation</li><li>Experience managing internal teams and external collaborators in a creative environment</li><li>Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills</li><li>Proficiency with operations and production tools (e.g. Asana, Airtable, Monday.com, StudioBinder, etc.)</li><li>Calm, collaborative, and solutions-focused under pressure</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Preferred Experience</strong></p><ul><li>Background in a creative agency, media company, or production studio</li><li>Familiarity with international production logistics and remote workflows</li><li>Ability to implement and scale operational systems for growing teams and workflows</li></ul>
