<p>Are you a seasoned leader in apparel manufacturing ready to take on a transformative role?</p><p><br></p><p>We’re looking for a <strong>Director of Apparel Manufacturing </strong>to help drive the next phase of</p><p>growth at one of Canada’s leading garment manufacturers.</p><p><br></p><p>This is a unique opportunity to join a well-established apparel production facility that</p><p>specializes in <strong>outerwear, uniforms, technical and tactical gear, </strong>and <strong>private label</strong></p><p><strong>production</strong> for top Canadian brands. With a team of over 200 skilled workers, we are</p><p>committed to innovation, craftsmanship, and building a people-first culture.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><p>• Oversee daily production across cutting, sewing, finishing, and packing</p><p>• Lead and support a team of 200+ production staff</p><p>• Maintain a strong on-the-floor presence to coach, problem-solve, and build</p><p>operational discipline</p><p>• Lead the implementation of ERP/MES systems for real-time visibility and planning</p><p>• Apply Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies to streamline operations and</p><p>eliminate waste</p><p>• Standardize workflows and improve tracking of production output</p><p>• Help create a clean, modern, and efficient production environment</p><p>• Strengthen cross-functional communication and accountability</p><p>• Foster a workplace culture where employees take pride in their work and have</p><p>opportunities to grow</p><p><br></p><p><strong>What We're Looking For:</strong></p><p>• 10+ years of leadership experience in apparel manufacturing</p><p>• Hands-on experience with ERP or MES systems in a garment production</p><p>environment</p><p>• Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or equivalent</p><p>methodologies</p><p>• A collaborative, floor-first leadership style with strong team-building skills</p><p>• Bonus: Experience with outerwear, uniforms, or technical/tactical apparel</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Employment Details</strong></p><p>• Position Type: Full-time, Permanent</p><p>• Location: In-person</p><p>• Salary: $100,000-$130,000/ Annually</p><p><br></p><p><strong>IS2 Thornhill | 905 918 5050 | Suite 36, 100 Steeles Ave W | Thornhill, ON</strong></p>
