<p>KPMG embeds ID&E into its culture through focused strategies and dedicated leadership. We are seeking a Director to lead the HR ID&E Centre of Excellence, championing inclusive workplace initiatives and advancing firm-wide priorities. This role collaborates with the National ID&E Council and cross-functional teams to ensure initiatives align with KPMG Canada’s strategic direction, driving the ongoing evolution of our ID&E strategy. The position reports directly to the Chief Talent Officer.</p>
<h3>What You Will Do</h3>
<ul>
<li>Lead the execution of National ID&E initiatives within KPMG Canada, ensuring alignment with firm strategy and people priorities.</li>
<li>Provide leadership, guidance, oversight, and subject-matter expert development support to a team of 6+ direct reports to enable delivery against the ID&E plan and strategic priorities.</li>
<li>Collaborate with the National ID&E Council to develop ID&E priorities aligned with firm strategy.</li>
<li>Serve as a trusted advisor to HR and business leaders, providing expert guidance on ID&E policy, programs, and change initiatives.</li>
<li>Represent ID&E on the National HR Leadership Team (HRLT), providing input and ID&E expertise on people priorities and talent programs and processes.</li>
<li>Develop and facilitate workplace education programs to foster an inclusive and equitable environment.</li>
<li>Design frameworks, programs, and performance metrics to evaluate and enhance ID&E initiatives across the firm.</li>
<li>Oversee relationships with external vendors and sponsorship organizations, including contract negotiation and vendor management.</li>
<li>Ensure adherence to national ID&E standards and support People Network Groups (ERGs) in aligning with these standards.</li>
<li>Collaborate with HR functional leaders, regional change agents, and CoE leaders to embed ID&E into talent programs and organizational culture.</li>
<li>Serve as the data steward for all diversity-related information, ensuring robust data governance practices to uphold privacy, confidentiality, and regulatory compliance.</li>
<li>Leverage diversity data and analytics to generate actionable insights, enabling evidence-based decision-making that advances the firm’s ID&E strategy and enhances accountability across business units.</li>
<li>Oversee project and resource budget, and participate in business and resource planning to support long-term advancement of the strategy.</li>
</ul>
<h3>What You Bring To The Role</h3>
<ul>
<li>10+ years of relevant work experience, with leadership experience.</li>
<li>Experience leading and managing inclusion, equity, diversity, anti-racism initiatives, training, and programs.</li>
<li>Strategic thinking, planning, and execution with a long-term horizon.</li>
<li>A proven change agent with a passion for ID&E, adept at influencing all organizational levels and building relationships with key stakeholders.</li>
<li>Enthusiastic, continuous learner committed to ongoing professional development.</li>
<li>Strong ability to build relationships internally and externally.</li>
<li>Strong commitment to and knowledge of ID&E principles, including education and training in ID&E and mental health-related disciplines.</li>
<li>Post-secondary degree, preferably in an ID&E-related field or strong knowledge of HR functions.</li>
<li>Written and oral fluency in English.</li>
</ul>
<p>The successful candidate will support and collaborate with English-speaking colleagues or stakeholders across the country and will create, interpret, and apply policies, practices, employment laws, and regulations in the course of employment.</p>
<p>The expected base salary range for this position is $115,000 to $193,000 and may be eligible for bonus awards. The base salary is determined by location, skills, competencies, and unique qualifications. KPMG offers a comprehensive Total Rewards program.</p>
