<p>Sky Group of Companies is seeking an experienced and results-driven <strong>Project Manager</strong> to lead construction and renovation projects from inception to completion. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in construction management, budgeting, and leadership to oversee multiple projects and ensure successful delivery within scope, timeline, and budget.</p><p><br></p><p>Key Responsibilities:</p><p>Project Leadership & Strategy:</p><ul><li>Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in alignment with business goals.</li><li>Develop comprehensive project execution strategies, including risk management and mitigation plans.</li><li>Lead project teams, ensuring collaboration among internal stakeholders, contractors, and subcontractors.</li><li>Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize project delivery processes.</li></ul><p>Budget & Cost Management:</p><ul><li>Prepare, manage, and control project budgets, ensuring financial efficiency.</li><li>Approve expenditures, contracts, and change orders while maintaining cost control.</li><li>Analyze financial reports and forecasts to proactively address cost overruns.</li></ul><p>Risk & Quality Management:</p><ul><li>Identify and assess project risks, implementing proactive mitigation strategies.</li><li>Ensure strict compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies.</li><li>Enforce quality control measures through regular site inspections and audits.</li></ul><p>Schedule & Resource Management:</p><ul><li>Develop and manage project timelines, adjusting schedules as needed to meet deadlines.</li><li>Coordinate workforce, equipment, and material procurement for seamless project execution.</li><li>Resolve scheduling conflicts and optimize workflow to improve efficiency.</li></ul><p>Stakeholder Communication & Reporting:</p><ul><li>Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, engineers, and key stakeholders.</li><li>Provide regular project updates and detailed reports on progress, challenges, and solutions.</li><li>Ensure transparency and accountability in all project-related communications.</li></ul><p>Contract & Procurement Oversight:</p><ul><li>Negotiate contracts with suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing.</li><li>Ensure contract compliance and manage vendor relationships effectively.</li><li>Oversee procurement processes to prevent delays and cost overruns.</li></ul><p>Project Closeout & Handover:</p><ul><li>Oversee final inspections, punch lists, and commissioning processes.</li><li>Ensure a seamless transition of completed projects to clients, including full documentation.</li><li>Conduct post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and opportunities for improvement.</li></ul><p>Qualifications & Experience:</p><ul><li>Minimum 5 years of experience in construction project management.</li><li>Strong knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and regulatory requirements.</li><li>Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.</li><li>Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Primavera).</li><li>PMP, CCM, or other relevant certifications are considered an asset.</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Sky Group of Companies is an Equal Opportunity Employer and values diversity in the workplace.
