They are seeking a Community Development Manager to lead the planning and execution of residential projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with strategic goals.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>About the Role:</strong></p><p>This is a strategic leadership role focused on driving development timelines, coordinating with internal teams and external partners, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>What You’ll Do:</strong></p><ul><li>Spearhead all aspects of community development, from concept to completion.</li><li>Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product teams to align lot and home types with market demand.</li><li>Manage relationships with builders, consultants, and municipal stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.</li><li>Oversee engineering, landscaping, and amenity design reviews to ensure alignment with community vision.</li><li>Lead budgeting, cost tracking, and financial reporting for development projects.</li><li>Secure necessary approvals, permits, and legal agreements to advance development phases.</li><li>Monitor construction progress and ensure safe, high-quality site conditions.</li><li>Represent the development team in builder meetings and coordinate show home landscaping and utility installations.</li><li>Contribute to long-term planning and infrastructure strategy for future phases.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>What You Bring:</strong></p><ul><li>8–10 years of experience in land development, ideally with a background in project coordination or management.</li><li>Strong understanding of civil engineering and residential construction practices.</li><li>Proven ability to manage complex projects and lead cross-disciplinary teams.</li><li>Excellent communication and negotiation skills.</li><li>Engineering or technical background is an asset (P.Eng, C.E.T., or equivalent experience).</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>What you need to do now</strong></p><p>If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.</p><p><br></p><p>If this job isn't quite right for you, but you are looking for a new position, please contact us for a confidential discussion on your career.</p><p></p>
