<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p>Salary: <br /><p>Mikisew Group is currently looking for a qualified candidate to join our team as a Building Maintenance Attendant.</p><p><br /></p><p>The Building Maintenance Attendant is responsible for ensuring the building and its grounds are clean, safe, and well-maintained, providing a comfortable environment for tenants and visitors while supporting the overall upkeep and efficient operation of the property.</p><p><br /></p><p><em>Key Responsibilities & Duties</em></p><ul><li>Perform routine cleaning and general upkeep of building common areas, including hallways, entrances, and shared facilities.</li><li>Manage garbage removal, recycling, and waste disposal efficiently.</li><li>Complete minor repairs and general maintenance tasks as needed.</li><li>Maintain exterior grounds, including landscaping, lawn care, snow removal, and seasonal upkeep.</li><li>Remove graffiti and ensure all exterior surfaces remain in good condition.</li><li>Monitor building systems and coordinate with specialized contractors as required.</li><li>Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.</li><li>Respond promptly to maintenance requests, maintaining a safe and well-kept environment.</li><li>Oversee the overall care of the building and grounds, serving as the companys on-site representative.</li><li>Maintain a visible on-site presence to foster a safe and welcoming environment for all tenants and visitors.</li></ul><p></p><p><em>Working Conditions</em></p><ul><li>Full-time position, 40 hours per week.</li><li>This role is based out of our head office location in Enoch, AB.</li><li>Work is performed both indoors (common areas, hallways, shared facilities) and outdoors (grounds, landscaping, snow removal).</li><li>Exposure to varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and snow.</li><li>Regular lifting, bending, and physical activity is required (up to 50 lbs).</li><li>May be required to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, or on-call shifts during snow events, emergencies, or special maintenance needs.</li></ul><p></p><p><em>Qualifications</em></p><p>Skills and Abilities:</p><ul><li>Previous experience in building maintenance, custodial work, or groundskeeping preferred.</li><li>Basic building maintenance skills such as painting, cleaning, and minor repairs.</li><li>Ability to operate and maintain basic landscaping equipment.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.</li><li>Physically capable of performing manual labor, including lifting, bending, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.</li><li>Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.</li></ul><p></p><p>Education:</p><ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent</li></ul><p></p><p><em>About Mikisew Group</em></p><p>Mikisew Group is a leading Oilsands partner specializing in site services, maintenance, logistics and construction.
