As Branch Manager, you will continue to foster and enhance this environment through inspiring leadership, operational oversight, and strategic growth. You will also help grow the current team and strengthen GEI’s footprint in the Grey-Bruce region. Our Owen Sound office focuses on municipal infrastructure, transportation, land development, water resources, and environmental services.</p><p> </p><p><strong>About the Role:</strong></p><p> </p><p>As Branch Manager / Senior Project Manager, you will provide leadership, operational oversight, and project excellence for the Owen Sound team. You’ll serve as a key representative of GEI in the region—cultivating client relationships, expanding service offerings, and guiding a team of multidisciplinary professionals. If you’re passionate about meaningful work, community impact, and empowering others, this is your opportunity to lead where it truly matters.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong>:</p><ul><li>Lead and manage the daily operations of the Owen Sound branch</li><li>Cultivate a strong, collaborative team culture focused on quality and continuous improvement</li><li>Provide senior project management and technical oversight on key initiatives</li><li>Maintain and expand relationships with clients, community stakeholders, and industry partners</li><li>Mentor and support the growth and development of team members at all career levels</li><li>Collaborate with other GEI offices to share knowledge, talent, and resources</li><li>Contribute to business development, proposal writing, and client engagement efforts</li><li>Champion GEI’s values of integrity, service, innovation, and inclusion</li></ul><p><strong>What You Bring:</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field</li><li>Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation in Ontario is preferred</li><li>10+ years of progressive experience in engineering or environmental consulting with demonstrated leadership skills</li><li>Deep understanding of the consulting project lifecycle and a commitment to client service excellence</li><li>Experience leading cross-functional teams and building high-performance cultures</li><li>Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills</li><li>A collaborative, entrepreneurial mindset</li><li>A valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation</li></ul><p><strong>Why Owen Sound?</strong></p><p> </p><p>Nestled on the shores of Georgian Bay, Owen Sound offers an unbeatable mix of natural beauty, small-town charm, and growing infrastructure needs.
