<p>Our Non-Profit client is confidentially hiring for a Bilingual Event Planner to join their team on a full time, permanent basis! This is an exciting opportunity working in a hybrid model, working 3 days onsite downtown Toronto per week.</p><p>As a Bilingual Event Planner, you’ll help create meaningful experiences for members through events and volunteer initiatives. You’ll play a key role in planning and delivering the organization’s major events—such as National Conferences - while also supporting regional professional development events. You’ll also foster strong relationships with volunteers across the country and help ensure their ongoing engagement and success.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><p>Event Planning & Execution (40%)</p><ul><li>Help plan and run major national and regional events.</li><li>Coordinate logistics such as venues, contracts, timelines, and on-site delivery.</li><li>Recommend new event ideas and improvements.</li><li>Work with internal teams and vendors to deliver high-quality member experiences.</li><li>Track post-event feedback and recommend enhancements.</li></ul><p>Volunteer Engagement (30%)</p><ul><li>Develop and implement volunteer engagement plans.</li><li>Support recruitment and communication with regional volunteers.</li><li>Coordinate volunteer involvement in events and initiatives.</li><li>Promote a positive volunteer experience and address any concerns.</li></ul><p>Consultation & Insights (10%)</p><ul><li>Share ideas and insights on how to improve member and volunteer experiences.</li><li>Contribute to team brainstorming and strategy sessions.</li><li>Present recommendations and findings to leadership.</li></ul><p>Budget & Administration (20%)</p><ul><li>Track event budgets and manage related invoices.</li><li>Identify and flag budget concerns.</li><li>Ensure cost-effective planning without compromising event quality.</li></ul><p>Qualifications</p><ul><li>Bilingual in English and French ( fluently written and spoken).</li><li>Five years experience in event planning in national conferences, webinars, seminars, regional summits and council meetings. </li><li>Certified Meeting Planner (CMP) Designation completed or already in progress.</li><li>Education completed within relevant field. </li><li>Strong organizational and project management skills.</li><li>Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.</li><li>Able and willingness to travel for in-person events across Canada throughout the year.</li></ul><p></p>Browse Jobs in Canada by City
