This role is ideal for a CPA with strong assurance and client management experience who thrives in a collaborative environment and is looking to take the next step in their career with a mid-sized public accounting firm.</p><p>As an Assurance Manager, you will lead engagement teams and manage a diverse client portfolio. You will work closely with partners to deliver high-quality assurance and advisory services while mentoring and developing junior team members.</p><p><b>Key Responsibilities :</b></p><ul><li>Lead and manage assurance engagements, including audit and review engagements</li><li>Review financial statements and related disclosures to ensure compliance with ASPE, ASNPO and IFRS</li><li>Oversee and review tax filing requirements and considerations that impact the results of the audit and review engagements</li><li>Manage multiple client relationships and act as a trusted advisor to clients by understanding their business needs</li><li>Oversee the work of staff and senior accountants, providing guidance, coaching, and formal performance feedback</li><li>Ensure engagement deliverables are completed on time and in accordance with firm and professional standards</li><li>Participate in the development of firm policies and internal processes to improve service delivery and efficiency</li><li>Lead technical training sessions and contribute to the professional development of team members</li></ul><p><b>Candidate Requirements :</b></p><ul><li>Minimum 4 years of experience with a focus on assurance services</li><li>Proven leadership experience in managing audit / review teams and engagements</li><li>Strong technical knowledge of ASPE and IFRS</li><li>Working knowledge of Canadian income tax compliance for corporations and individuals</li><li>Proficiency in assurance and tax software, including CaseWare, Taxprep, QuickBooks, and Microsoft Office Suite</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Excellent organizational and time management skills</li><li>A supportive and collaborative work culture in a mid-sized firm setting</li><li>Paid overtime</li><li>Exposure to a wide range of industries and client engagements</li><li>Comprehensive benefits and extended health coverage</li><li>Firm-sponsored social events and team-building activities</li><li>Ongoing professional development and leadership training</li><li>Opportunities for advancement and growth within the firm</li></ul><p><b>How to Apply :</b></p><p>Please upload your resume and cover letter here.</p></p>#J-18808-Ljbffr
