<p>Tourmaline Oil Corp. is a Canadian senior crude oil and natural gas exploration and production company. We are focused on long-term growth through an active exploration, development, production, and acquisition program in the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin.</p><p><br></p><p>We are currently looking for an Archaeology Project Manager to join our team. This opportunity is a full-time in-office position in our Calgary office as part of the NEBC Permitting team.</p><p><br></p><p><strong><u>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES</u></strong></p><p>The successful candidate will be responsible for or assist with the following duties but not be limited to:</p><ul><li>Coordinate & manage archaeology projects in Northeast British Columbia</li><li>Collaborate with Development Teams on project scope, timelines, priorities & field work</li><li>Drive project objectives and direction to Archaeology service providers </li><li>Review field data and reporting completed by Archaeology service providers </li><li>Track application submissions & correspondence with BCER</li><li>Ensure regulatory requirements and corporate reporting are met as part of 12.2 permit </li><li>Lead site alternation permit process & mitigation strategy recommendations</li><li>Maintain communication & enhance relationship with BCER Heritage Conservation Program</li></ul><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><strong><u>QUALIFICATIONS</u></strong></p><ul><li>8+ years of experience in archaeological project management, including coordinator roles</li><li>A minimum post-secondary diploma or certificate in Administration or equivalent </li><li>Strong base of knowledge of Archaeology processes in British Columbia</li><li>Proficient computer skills including Microsoft, Smartsheet, GIS, LiDAR and OneDrive software </li><li>Familiar with and archaeological reporting requirements in British Columbia</li><li>Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills</li><li>Knowledge of and ability to extract data from public sources </li><li>Capable of handling multiple tasks with competing deadlines</li><li>Ability to work independently or with a team in a fast-paced environment </li><li>Takes pride and ownership in their work</li><li>Proactive, self-motivated, and positive attitude</li></ul><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>Please submit your resume Attn: Cory Lundquist, careers@tourmalineoil.com</p><p></p>Browse Jobs in Canada by City
