<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><p>Starlink Aviation is looking for an Apprentice Aircraft Maintenance Engineer</p><p><strong>Your Role</strong></p><p>Under the supervision of the Director of Maintenance, your role will consist of performing routine maintenance tasks as scheduled by your coordinator.</p><p>Tasks include, but are not limited to:</p><ul><li> Performing inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, overhauls, or modifications on aircraft, components, and equipment within Starlink’s fleet as assigned; </li><li> Complying with procedures outlined in the Maintenance Policy Manual (MPM); </li><li> Reporting any discrepancies found during maintenance activities to the maintenance coordinators; </li><li> Reporting any uncompleted work to the maintenance coordinators using the proper deferral process; </li><li> Supporting the rectification of deficiencies found during routine inspections or reported by flight crews after a flight; </li><li> Carrying out tasks in accordance with established policies and procedures, with a strong focus on personal safety, as well as the safety of colleagues and clients; </li><li> Maintaining required training certifications; </li><li> Following all health and safety procedures and only using company-approved equipment and materials; </li><li> Keeping a clean and organized work environment; </li><li> May be required to assist other teams (e.g., line maintenance or heavy/moderate maintenance) during downtime in their assigned team; </li><li> Performing any other related duties as needed.</li></ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience (maintenance); </li><li>Must be in the process of obtaining a valid AME license from Transport Canada;</li><li>Understanding of aircraft maintenance procedures and operations;</li><li>Ability to perform tasks in accordance with aircraft specifications and maintenance manuals;</li><li>Canadian citizenship or permanent resident status;</li><li>Eligible for obtaining an identity card for restricted areas (RAIC);</li><li>Driver's License class 5 (an asset).</li></ul><p></p><p><strong>Your Skills </strong></p><ul><li>Strong communication skills in both English and French;</li><li>Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team;</li><li>Ability to work under pressure and manage stress effectively;</li><li>Demonstrated flexibility based on operational needs;</li><li>Strong adaptability, organizational skills, and attention to detail.</li></ul><p><strong>Benefits</strong></p><ul><li>Experienced and dynamic team! </li><li>Uniform provided;</li><li>Competitive salary;</li><li>Flexible schedule;</li><li>On-site parking;</li><li>Company events;</li><li>RRSP;</li><li>3 weeks of vacation after the first year in service;</li><li>5 personal days off per year;</li></ul><p><em><strong>Full range of benefits<br /></strong></em>Group insurance including : </p><ul><li>Employee and Family Assistance Program</li><li>Postal Pharmacy</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Short- and long-term disability</li><li>Dental and drug coverage</li></ul></p></p>Browse Jobs in Canada by City
